towels and a dish towel. (If you have your

Nuno Felted Scarves
Nuno felting,
or lamination felting, has become the couture
craze of felting in Europe and on international
fashion runways. This workshop teaches a technique
that permanently combines fabric and wool
through a felting process without any sewing
or hemming. Bring to class any loosely woven
fabric scraps that pass the “blow test”
(air passing freely through the fabric when
you blow through it). We will be able to incorporate
these scraps in our creation of a nuno felted
scarf. |

Flowers
For all occasions
and all sorts of embellishments, the range
and nuances, the color and shape of felt flowers
is inexhaustible. Capture the likeness of
a flower as seen in nature or use your imagination.
The possibilities are as endless as their
usage: as pin, necklace, embellishments, light
shades/covers, jewelry, accessories. Let your
imagination take flight. |

Don’t just
reminisce about those forgotten wardrobe items
— refurbish them with new felted collars,
cuffs, and pockets. In this class you will
learn how to make exciting additions to much-loved
but outdated clothing items. |

Materials: $30. Bring the item of clothing you want
to refurbish and pictures of collar, cuff, and pocket
styles that appeal to you. Also bring fabric and
yarn scraps, felting equip- ment, scissors, paper,
pencil, and a measuring tape.
