Temari Balls
Temari is an ancient craft from Japan that produces a kaleidoscopic patterned ball by embroidering with colorful threads. In this class, we’ll cover a Styrofoam ball by winding it with yarn, then with sewing thread. We’ll use lovely cotton and metallic threads to create the patterns. If you are unfamiliar with temari balls, take a look at www.temarikai.com. Click on Album to see many beautiful examples of temari balls.
